Loganotherwise known as the comic book X-Men character, Wolverine, is officially retired for the current Marvel universe. Logan is a 2017 film that can be compared to The Dark Knight in the DC Universe, as it is an action film that contains more detail than any of its past movies. Logan explores the post-mutant world that X-Men have been living, as Wolverine is the last of the original X-Men.

The greatest part of this movie was the scenery, as much of the movie was noticeably shot in New Orleans and other locations in the South, before heading over to the MidWest.

New Orleans’ metro area is the home of many films in, such as 21 Jump Street (2012) and Deja Vu (2006). While there have been rumors of many future films to be found elsewhere due to the many films on schedule for production in Downtown New Orleans, Logan shows that the film industry in New Orleans is booming, as the movie has been number 1 at the box office for two weeks in a row, raking in $441 million on a $95 million budget. As the filmmakers need to pay taxes for their work in New Orleans, many expect future blockbusters to boom the cities economy.
